A Little Bit About Me!

Welcome to my journey towards becoming a successful student affairs educator/career advisor! I am currently in my second and final year of graduate school, in which, I am pursing a M.S. in College Counseling and Student Development. I am passionate about working in higher education and specifically want to work in a career center as a career advisor. Through this site, I will be posting updates about my journey through graduate school which will include: academic work, events I helped plan through my graduate assistantship, my internship experience, co-curricular events I participated in, and content that has inspired me along the way.

While I work towards becoming a student affairs educator/career advisor, there are other aspects of my life that influence my journey. My family plays a large role in my life and I wouldn't be where I am today without their unconditional love and support. They continually push me to be the best version of myself, for which I am grateful. I have a passion for reading and recently discovered a new favorite author, Brené Brown, some of her work can be found through the links provided on the current affairs page. A fun tidbit, my ideal Sunday would include a coffee or tea (depending on the time of day) in hand and being curled up in my favorite chair with a good book.
