ACPA/ASHE Presidential Symposium

I attended the ACPA/ASHE Presidential Symposium livestream event on-campus and was able to learn valuable insights from well-respected professionals in the Student Affairs field.  One of the most influential takeaways I gained came from Kimberly Griffin, Ph.D., "theories explain processes, not people".  I found her insight to be a good reminder, that while it's important to be learning about theories in my courses, what truly matters is remembering that people are more than a theory.
